The Helmer Couloir is a slightly more hairy alternative to the Banana couloir. Same approach as le Banana but go skier's right before the Banana starts.

Description

The run is tucked inbetween two impressive rocks, has it's steepest part in the beginning and you end up in Tortin.

Rumored to have been first descended by Stig-H. Olsson back in 1980.

Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
