Ski Touring Moderate
This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's an unknown remoteness, it features unknown exposure and is typically done between March and May. From a low point of 2.7 km to the maximum altitude of 3.8 km, the route covers 17 km, 1637 vertical metres of ascent and 1821 vertical metres of descent. You'll need skins to complete it safely.
Today you ascend the Trugberg (3880m), an isolated, island-like peak, completely surrounded by glaciers. Ascend via the Ewigschneefeld ice fall to the east, and return again to the Konkordia hut.
