I recommend riding counterclockwise, making sure you take the high ground when given an option to catch a couple of fun features.
Mountain Biking Difficult
Emerging from Spring Park via the tunnel you enter the latest addition to this group of trails, a network of several old school “handmade” trails. I recommend climbing up the trail to your right on Apple Dumplin to ride counter clockwise, making sure you take the high ground when given an option to catch a couple of fun features. Then return, riding Black Apple Creek Trail, and finish with a challenging rocky ledge-y scramble on Apple Turnover.
Difficult
Mostly stable trail tread with some variability featuring larger and more unavoidable obstacles that may include, but not be limited to: bigger stones, roots, steps, and narrow curves. Compared to lower intermediate, technical difficulty is more advanced and grades of slopes are steeper. Ideal for upper intermediate riders.
