Coler: Esther's and Good Vibrations Loop Map

"There is much more to the 7 miles of soft trails within Coler West than the slalom, although that experience alone would be worth a road trip," writes local rider Bob Robinson. You'll also "find 4.5 miles of rolly-flowy single track called Esther’s Loop. Named after one of the area’s original homesteaders, this section may not have the hardcore features of some of the other trails at Coler; however, it is a fun fast ride with minimal elevation gain to slow you down," he continues.

Description

Pair Esther's Loop with the fun, flowy Good Vibrations to create a bonafide beginner ride that's guaranteed to get any newbie hooked on the sport of mountain biking! Flowy rollers, small berms, and pedal-friendly singletrack all combine to create a fantastic two-wheeled experience.

Thanks to Coler's layout, it's easy to cut this ride shorter or extend it by using the many singletrack junctions, as well as the nearby paved bike path. This ability to shorten or extend is also advantageous for first-time mountain bikers if you're unsure of your fitness or stoke level.

To finish the ride on a high note, swing by the Airship for a post-ride coffee or beer. Soak in the sun on the patio or deck, sip your drink, and savor the beauty of the mountain biking lifestyle!
