The Beavers is one of the easiest backcountry zones to access since it starts out from the backcountry gates of Arapahoe Basin Ski Area. Starting out on wind affected snow above tree line, there are several options to enter the gully, or staying skier left will offer a steeper zone. Stay left to find medium sized cliffs before the bottom. Once you have reached the bottom, you will have to cross the frozen stream, and hike up a short, steep embankment to get back to the road.
Moderate
Slopes become slightly steeper at around 25-30 degrees.
