Completed in the fall of 2018, the French Press flow trail quickly became an instant classic. With over 3,000 vertical feet of never-ending berms, rollers, and ultra-fast singletrack, French Press is quite likely the best intermediate flow trail in the state of Colorado!

Description

This trail is all about the berms—berms upon berms upon berms! You’ll find yourself ripping into 15-foot walls of dirt that allow you to keep your speed at top-notch, railing around 180 degrees so you can flow into a set of rollers before you twist the other way on the next berm.

Thanks to the sheer size of the berms, competent riders can scream down this trail at mach-chicken. It’s rare to find a flow trail that allows riders to achieve the speeds that you can reach on some sections of French Press. Blasting down a mountain at top-notch on a bicycle—does it really get any better than this?!

Unlike other flow trails that you might be familiar with, French Press isn’t a jump line. In fact, there are almost no jumps on this trail. Advanced riders may be able to pop and float off a few rollers, but you won’t find any tabletops or any senders. Again, French Press is all about berms, undulating rollers, and sheer downhill ripping. So put thoughts of getting sendy out of your head, and enjoy this trail for what it is: a ripping 3,000 foot descent through some of the best flow in the state of Colorado!
