Wild Phlox and Seamans Gulch Loop Map

This is a short and sweet loop from the Seamans Gulch trailhead, and is the biggest single loop you can do on the trails here. It makes a scenic workout that's convenient to the west side of town. The loop goes steadily up a hillside then onto a ridge, with panoramic views over all of Boise and across to the Owyhee Mountains. The surface is hard-pack and all nicely graded. These trails can be too muddy to run after snow or heavy rain, but tend to dry faster than some other trails in the area.
