Short chute with a medium sized air out
Freeride Skiing Difficult
Cavanna's is tempting chute that begins just to your left as you get into the High Traverse. It is an East facing shot that is only about 100ft long before it drops off a 10-20ft cliff. This air then drops you into Kanlzer's about halfway down the chute. In mid to late season, you can traverse out just above the air to the right, uphill of a large tree. This area gets a decent amount of traffic and sees the effects of the sun. It also can be sluffed out. It is named after Mike Cavanna, who passed away here during a huge powder day in 2003, there is a plaque in his honor near the cliff where he was found.
Difficult
