Serfoss Sluff Map

Serfoss Sluff is a go to for skiers and snowboarders that don't want to mess with actually traversing on the High Traverse. It gets pretty hammered most days. After going through the High Traverse gate, go past the tree with the "Avalanche Gulch" sign and ski down and to the right. Be sure to not head down just after getting through the gate, that is Cavanaugh's and it doesn't always go through. So after passing the Avalanche Gulch sign, drop in heading a little right into the wide upper part of Serfoss. It goes fall line for a little bit, then you must bank to the right in front of a big rock wall -going left cliffs out in some real nasty rocks and trees. It gets sun affected lots of days, so beware of these conditions. There is a real nice cave at the bottom left once you get past the rock walls to take a break in. Serfoss has moguls in it most of the year, but on a deep powder morning, this can be a fantastic run.
