Kanzler's is also the second gate to the the Avalanche Gulch area. It starts out with hop turns in a moderately wide chute, about 20ft, for maybe 50ft vertical. It then opens up to 100ft wide for the rest of the run. One of the best times to ski Kanzler's is in the spring, when it holds great corn snow. It is also a great run early in the morning on a powder day in the first half of the season.
Difficult
Serious gradient of 30-38 degrees where a real risk of slipping exists.
