The tenth and final shot of the Anesthesia Chutes off of Fantasy Ridge.
Freeride Skiing Severe
The hardest runs at Park City are what I call the Anesthesia Chutes off of Fantasy Ridge. They are barely ever open, but when they are, the chutes are adrenaline-inducing thrill rides. They only open on deep powder days when the rocks and exposed terrain are covered. This is my favorite shot off of the Anesthesia Chutes for many reasons. It is very steep, just as steep if not steeper than #6, #7, #8, and #9. It is just a lot more open. It does close up to about 15 feet of width at the bottom but the top funnel is very steep and open. Such a great chute for powder.
Severe
Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
