A tight little chute above Egan’s Woods

This is one of those little stashes you’ll find if you're hugging the trail side looking for stashes. As you ski down Valley House Traverse, look for an entrance to skiers left, after you pass Murphy’s Glade. As soon as you enter, you immediately dive into a steep chute straight down the fall line. The tight spruce trees will keep you on your toes. The limited room in these woods cause it to get scraped off quickly. Upper Egan’s Woods ends as soon as it started on Reverse Traverse. If you intend to ski the true Egan’s Woods, you may have to sidestep up the trail about 10 feet or cut in, since Upper Egan’s Woods doesn’t line up with it perfectly.
