Pfaffenbühel North #3 (woods) Map

This run provides you a wide slope in a wood, near the black piste no.7, it's always good here on windy and foggy days. It's quite difficult to find the spot, first of all take the 8er Jet gondola to the top. Then follow the piste number 10 until you go pass under a small tunnel near the Pfaffenbühel 2 T-Bar. Go through the tunnel and stop here. There is piste number 10 on your left and a red one on your right. A few metres behind the point, where the slopes separate the 8er jet gondola is crossing. Go to this point, when you come nearer you see a pylon from the cable car standing on a bigger rock, the gondola is hanging just 2 metres above ground, you can't miss it. At this point you need to continue in a northerly direction. At the beginning the slope is flat, but gets steeper with every metre. If you stay more on the left you have some trees, which could be good for you, when you need some contrast and orientation in the fog. If you stay more on the right, the hill is a little bit flatter. After 350 metres you will end up at the top station of Pfaffenbühel 3 T-Bar. Now you just need to follow the slope number 8 back to the 8er Jet gondola, heading for the next run!

Description

This route is a secret spot on bad days, the hill is really wide, so you are able to do a lot of lines on the hill. It's also mostly safe and not very crowded.
