Description

Starting at Axamer Lizum Talstation, follow the obvious and usually well-used skin track into the higher valley. After passing the tree line, a big debris cone at the bottom of the couloir will indicate the entry. Depending on the snow conditions you will have go give up skinning eventually and boot the upper part.

The snow in the upper end might be very wind-pressed so you can consider not booting the last 10-20 meters and enjoy a much safer descent. Make sure not to plow through the woods on your way down since this will kill many young seedlings. Just use the skin track!
