Half Note Trail to High Note Map

The Half Note to High Note Circuit is one of the top ways to explore the views around the summit of Whistler Mountain. Beginning at the Roundhouse Lodge, most hikers choose to ascend to the top of Whistler Mountain by way of the Peak Express Lift, then hike the circuit downhill beginning with an epic traverse of the Cloudraker Skybridge. Along the way you'll earn expansive views of the surrounding mountains and nearby Cheakamus Lake on a half-day hike often touted as one of the best in the area.

Description

After enjoying the commanding views from the bridge, the route follows the High Note Trail around the peak's southern slopes, where it passes the Top of the World Trail before linking up with the Half Note Trail. The hike ends with Pika's Traverse as you navigate around the side of the mountain back to the lodge.

Pack plenty of food and water for an estimated 3 - 4 hour hike, and note that it's not a great option for younger children.
