If you are unfamiliar with riding jump trails in bike parks, or even if you just need to warm up, you should make sure to easy-style your day by starting small and slowly increasing the difficulty of trails you ride. You'll even see signs placed under the lifts in the Whistler Bike Park to remind riders to do exactly this. So if you’re looking for the perfect warmup trail, or a good trail to brush up your skills, check out B-Line.

Description

Despite being rated as an intermediate jump run, B-Line is definitely the easiest intermediate jump run in the bike park. In fact, you won’t find many jumps here, save for a few low tables. Instead, most of the trail consists of flowy berms allowing you to rip down the mountainside without any formidable obstacles in your way. With low, approachable berms, this trail is perfect for bike park neophytes who may be unfamiliar with how to rail a berm or pump a trail for flow.

Keep an eye out for the occasional rock or root on your way down. While B-Line is definitely a flow trail, it’s not totally buff the entire time. That said, all obstacles are easy to navigate around if you keep an eye out for them.

Once you’ve conquered B-Line, continue working your way slowly up the trail progression (see the signs in the bike park) to build your speed and jumping confidence!
