Mountain Biking Moderate
Blue velvet is the first intermediate trail on the upper part of Whistler Mountain in the Garbonzo area. It could be described as a chilled out version of Crank It Up. It is one of the longest descent trails in the Garbonzo area. It has a number of standout features including; a wooden bridge (which can be gapped), hipped step-ups, juicy flowy sender jumps, a few rock drops and wall rides. This trail is not to be missed if you like flow and air time!
Moderate
Mostly stable trail tread with some variability, with unavoidable obstacles 8in/20cm tall or less. Other obstacles such as rock gullies and steep sections may exist. Ideal for lower intermediate riders.
