Blackcomb Mountain is home to some of the most famous pedal loops in Whistler! While many of the trails on Blackcomb are very technical—ranging from challenging black diamond trails to insane double black diamond trails—this trail combination runs on the easy end of the Blackcomb spectrum. If you want to dip your toes into mountain biking on Blackcomb Mountain, start here first.

Description

This descent has it all! You start off with some rough, technical rock sections before entering a steep and technical chute. Then you'll rail through high-speed loose corners all the way to the road.

Sprint up the road and drop straight into Roam in the Loam, where you will have to find all the lines to maintain your flow. This section finishes with a steep, loose, sandy chute followed by some tight, loose corners before a jump out into the open.

If your arms and legs can still handle it, connect this into Rabbit tracks, which is newly reworked with a drop at the top and bike park berms all the way down to a Beer at Merlins.

This was stage 2 at the 2022 EWS, and the fastest time from the top to bottom was under 5 minutes!
