Hey Bud Loop Map

Hey Bud is an old-school Blackcomb classic. Blackcomb Mountain is home to some of the most famous pedal loops in Whistler! While in recent years Dark Crystal and Microclimate have gained much more renown than Hey Bud, you shouldn't sleep on this absolute gem of a trail.

Description

This double black diamond run has been reworked to add flow and speed to all the rocks and roots.

The route starts next to Crazy train on a steep and rough chute before traversing a new loamy section. After this, you will hit the eternally wet rocky corner that now has a great new catch berm to carry speed into the next section.

This trail has tonnes of line choices and a new traverse exit to get lots of downhill time for your pedal up. There is an old-school rock drop and creek gap for anyone who feels like adding extra spice to their ride about 1/2 way down.

This trail is a classic downhill training trail for any enduro enthusiast and has become a local testpiece for racers and expert recreational riders alike. If you want to get fast, you need to train on Hey Bud!
