Col de Montets to Refuge de Moede Anterne via Lac Blanc and Brevent Map

The day starts with the long hike up to the incredible views at Lac Blanc. There are various paths you can take up to the lake and this one avoids the ladders that some can find intimidating or scary.

Description

After taking in the views from the take continue up the wild high alpine paths above Flegere and across to the Brevent area to the Col Cornu and then across to the Col de Brevent. After taking in the view descend to the wild Diozaz valley and likely away from most of the crowds before climbing towards the Fiz and pastures of the Passy Natural reserve. The comfortable Refuge Moede Anterne and it's fine hospitality is a welcome reward.
