After going down the Bietenhorn piste for approximately 300 metres head to the right side of the piste and go round where avalanche danger rope is placed and begin traversing along the steep slope. You can drop in at almost any point, but the further you traverse generally the better the snow and longer the descent. Caution is advised though as avalanches can be triggered from above so be careful after heavy snow. Due to its aspect and shading from above very little sun reaches it so it can retain good powder much longer than other places. Experienced skiers will enjoy the particularly deep snow that accumulates here.
