A short skin to Col Ferret- see Col Ferret Access- followed by a short traverse gives access to some impressive steep couloir skiing above the Lac de Cleuson. The skiing is serious, exposed and the steep slopes above the lake are avalanche prone - to consider during the descent and also the traverse back to the dam. From the Col Ferret, traverse left and locate the top of the Les Lues couloirs. THere are a number of possible lines. The two most common are marked here but the right hand line is the most 'sure' and least steep. Both require good snow cover as the couloirs are rocky.
