The route for skinning uphill during open hours at Arapahoe Basin.
Resort Ski Touring Moderate
To get a midday workout at A-Basin, you can skin uphill on the blue route High Noon. Uphillers can use the climber’s left side of the run to get up to Black Mountain Lodge, but no higher, and ski any path down from there. Much more terrain is open for uphill outside of operating hours, but this is the only option while lifts are turning.
A-Basin does require an uphill pass and armband, which costs money unless you’re a season passholder. You can find more info and check the current uphill status on A-Basin’s Uphill Access page.
