Middle and South Teton Summits Map

This is an incredibly rewarding climb with the ability to summit the Middle Teton and the South Teton in one day. Beginning at Lupine Meadows Parking lot, follow the Valley Trail until it splits with the Garnet Canyon trail. Continue up this trail until it splits again (with Surprise/Amphitheater Lakes Trail) and continue up Garnet Canyon. Trail will disappear after Garnet Meadows and you'll have to boulder hop up the left canyon all the way to the South/Middle Saddle. Highly recommended to have GPS or trail tracker to avoid getting stuck in the terminal moraines. At the saddle, you can opt to summit either the Middle Teton or the South Teton - preferably the Middle first as it is taller.
