Description

The bike park at Mt. Bachelor is one of the newest downhill mountain bike parks in the nation. "Established in the summer of 2013, the Mt. Bachelor Bike Park is growing in popularity among all levels of riders,” writes MtBachelor.com.

In the years since that first opening, the park has continued to build and evolve. The current network "features a combination of machine-built flow trails and hand-built singletrack completing the network of over 13 miles of gravity served bike trails,” according to MtBachelor.com.

The trail system in Bend has long been known for its smooth, sandy, flowy cross country trails… and the construction of technical downhill trails added a fantastic new dimension to the local riding scene. The technical challenges and massive air opportunities of the Bachelor Bike Park dramatically diversify this world-class mountain bike destination.

On the flanks of this volcano, you can find ultra-technical double black diamond tech runs that are guaranteed to challenge even advanced riders, and provide a rush for even the most expert bike handlers. Begin by working your way up on the single-black Rattlesnake, then test your skills on the double-black Rockfall.

If hangtime is your thing, start by working your way up on Lava Flow then head to the experts-only Redline or Last Chance. Whatever your preferred type of downhill shredding, Mt. Bachelor will deliver!
