From the "peak" of the Southern Twin Hump, there are two main lines which can be taken, one drops to the right of the rocky outcrop at the top and the line becomes steep yet relatively hazard free for about 300 metres of vertical before the vegetation gets a little too thick. Meanwhile the other alternative is to follow the major ridgeline down towards Leatherbarrel Creek, aka keeping left of the rocky outcrop at the top of the Twin Hump, skiing the ridgeline which can be fantastic in spring conditions, holding some really interesting kinks, drops and other features on the way down. This run is particularly good in early spring, the snow is kept well in this area, but the rocks can become exposed fairly early. From either of these lines, the tree skiing further down can be awesome, and in a great year, skiing from the ridge can continue all the way down to Leatherbarrel Creek. The best way to head out from here is to either hike back up to the Twin Humps, or head up Golden Gully if you make it to the creek and are heading back to Dead Horse Gap.
