This is a quiet hike that begins from Pyramid Lake Road, but not at the busy Pyramid Lake itself. Instead, it finds the shore of Patricia Lake, which is equally scenic. The trail also wanders through mixed conifer forest and some sunny meadows, along with a marshy area where you may spot a moose.
