There can't be many spots in the world with a backdrop like Les Houches Bike Park. If only there was a nice cruisy blue trail where you could get the perfect shot with Mont Blanc and Chamonix Aiguilles in the background.... Oh look, what's this trail here?

Description

Where most of the Les Houches trails are in the trees doing battle with the roots, La Saucette starts with a brief climb from the Prarion lift before cruising through the cow fields at a mellow angle under the stunning backdrop of western Europe's biggest hill. Unfortunately the cow fields sometimes have cows in them, and they seem to really like walking up the trail, but bovine hazards aside, this is about a relaxed a trail as you'll find in the Chamonix valley.

Created in 2020 by the Les Houches Bike Crew, the line will hopefully be extended in the near future.
