Incredible views, fantastic steep skiing and over 1800m non-stop down to La Grave - what more could you want!? The line follows the 'skiers left' Vallons de Chancel from the top station of the Ruillans lift. Just under the lift head slightly skiers left to join the wide open valley. An initial steepening gives access to great rolling freeride terrain. Make sure you left in time to avoid the lake and traverse to the Chancel refuge. The terrain steepens up and gets wider, trending right to the tree line. A long traverse brings you out at the lift pylons and then head down to the intermediate P1 lift station or continue down through clearings to a bridge and then on down to the final bridge to cross the Romanche river.
