Classic La Grave couloir skiing
Freeride Skiing Severe
Steep and committing but shy of extreme, the couloir takes a line straight down the far skiers right rock face above the lake. The couloir is around 150m vertical after some enjoyable (albeit traversing) skiing. Watch out for wind-slabs when traversing over the the couloir - the terrain is exposed due to the rock face below.
Severe
Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
