Tunnel (exit) Map

Having exited the tunnel itself, the really exciting skiing begins! Turn right immediately after leaving the tunnel and make a 25 metre traverse to the top of a 35 degree pitch overlooking a huge bowl.

Description

Ski the pitch (which is often moguled) as it gradually mellows. Drift out right and ski another steep pitch to reach the bowl north of the Lac Blanc Supérieur. Go around the top of the lake and then ski down a final steep-ish section to the gentle terrain which leads back to the foot of the Pic Blanc cable car.

Difficulty

Difficult

Serious gradient of 30-38 degrees where a real risk of slipping exists.
