Wings of Icarus is a mellow hike and you can take the line into the bowl, which is much more mellow - or hike along the ridge, like I did in this case and enter above the Lac de Cleuson, make sure that conditions are stable as an avalanche here will have you in the lake... and that is game over. There is a lot of exposure from this entry, so you need to be sure of your line.
