This is a fun run to take when Milk Run is closed (gates on top of Powderhorn skiing into Summit Lift). More often than not the Milk Run gates are closed for an entire 24 hours after a new snow storm. If you are one of the lucky few to ski Solitude on a powder day, this is a great line to get some freshies near the trees. Take Powerhorn Chair Lift to the top and exit to the right, then follow the ski patrol rope all the way down the run, stay right, but never cut under the rope. You will have your ski pass taken away. I like to cut into the trees a bit and SFD (Straight-F-Down) until I reach an opening where there are jumps and poppers everywhere you look. Be careful for early season trees and rocks. Before you reach the bottom of the slope remember to keep up your speed so you can make it through the flats below the Summit Lift. Ski all the way down to Apex Chair Lift and maybe do it again? Honestly, this run only works if you are one of the first on the slope but it's a great Plan B if the Milk Run gates are closed.
