A detour from a detour, this is only a short section of trail but it packs a punch! It's basically the ISS Flow trail, a brief section of the ISS Natural trail, and then a short but tough section of steep and technical riding followed by section 3 of the Flow trail.

The run starts at the very top of the Isskogelbahn cable car and is clearly signposted - it begins at a small wooden bridge immediately south of the lift station. The first section is pretty straightforward, with a few tight-ish turns and a small wooden roll being the only obstacles. The second part takes you into the forest, and almost immediately after entering the forest you'll reach a junction where this line and the ISS Natural trail go (and are signposted) left and the main ISS Flow route goes right. Turn left and get strapped in!

Follow the ISS Natural trail initially - the line is not hugely different to the ISS Flow line but it does feature some steep little sections which are trickier than anything on the Flow route. There are also some optional jumps but these are easily avoided and are all marked in advance with yellow "exclamation mark" signs. Soon you'll find yourself at a wooden bridge - turn right to rejoin the ISS Flow trail or turn left for an even bigger challenge...this line!

The riding is much the same as the ISS Natural trail but steeper and more sustained. There are no compulsory drops or gap jumps but there are some really steep sections followed immediately by sharp corners - you really don't want to fall off in several spots. If in doubt, get off and walk - a brief loss of face beats an injury!

Eventually this line rejoins the ISS Flow trail, which you follow to a jeep track - cross this and then make a long traverse rightwards to the final technical part of the run. Like the 2 parts which preceded it, the third and final technical section is fun and challenging without ever being "hard". Unlike the other 2 sections it passes through some recently forested areas so there are tree stumps everywhere - bear this in mind when judging your speed....a fall would hurt!

The trail deposits you on a road - turn right on it and ride past the Rösslalm restaurant to reach the Dorfbahn lift middle station. Go past this until you're directly under the lift cables, at which point you can choose to either descend a road back to Gerlos or (highly recommended) head down the ISS Shore trail.

Very steep, difficult, narrow singletrack with widely variable and unpredictable trail conditions. Unavoidable obstacles could be 15in/38cm tall or greater, and unavoidable obstacles with serious consequences are likely to be present. Obstacles could include big rocks, difficult root sections, drops, jumps, sharp switchbacks, and more. Ideal for expert-level riders.
