Freeride Skiing Difficult
This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's not remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done between November and March. From a low point of 1.5 km to the maximum altitude of 1.7 km, the route covers 704 m, 12 vertical metres of ascent and 251 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 3.2 and Labande grade 4.
Stay skiers left all the way across Franz's meadows and start bootpacking. This steep glade run accessed through Goat Path offers some of the best skiing on the mountain. Make sure to stay skiers left because there is a no fall zone under goat path.
