Grand Couloir off piste entrance

Turning right off the top of the Bellecombes chairlift, start on the Super Diable blue piste. Before the track heads over the ridge to the back of the mountain, head off to the right and keep a high line, traversing across the front of the mountain. There are usually tracks from others to lead the way. Head across until above the steep mogul part of the black Grand Couloir, then pick your route and enjoy the powder down to the mogul field. As this route flattens there is a large protruding rock that can act as a drop-off should you wish to get some air...be aware that the landing is flat. As with all off piste, be aware of the snow conditions to ensure it is safe and don't ignore local advice.
