Le Déversoir Map

A fine, steep couloir right in the heart of the ski area. Access and exit are straightforward, and the couloir provides a good challenge - it is very narrow and steep at around 40°, depending a little on snow conditions. From just below the Bellecombes chair base station on the Jandri 2 piste, leave the piste rightwards, and make a descending traverse rightwards towards the small Lac du Plan. Skirt around the right-hand side of the lake, and at the outflow at the far end continue straight on the right to descend into a small bowl just above the couloir. Follow the base of the bowl until it drops abruptly away, and attack the narrow couloir below. The couloir eases and widens towards the bottom, before a short open slope leads out the Thuit 5 itinerary and Thuit 2 piste beyond.
