This is a popular alpine climbing route which is generally considered to be extreme. It's extremely remote, it features extreme exposure and is typically done between May and June. From a low point of 1.8 km to the maximum altitude of 3.4 km, the route covers 26 km, 1308 vertical metres of ascent and 2828 vertical metres of descent. You'll need bivy kit, crampons, glacier kit and 2 ice axes to complete it safely.
