From the top lift of the Skyway Mont Bianco, approach as for the classic Marbrées descent. Continue past the Aiguille Marbrées and up to the ridge coming down from the Dent du Géant, but to the looker's right side of the mountain. The approach couloir is located about 300 meters to the right of the approach for the Dent du Géant South Face. The couloir is located just to the left of point 3537 marked on the map. The correct couloir is the most straightforward to climb of the several small couloirs coming down from the ridge. From the top of the ridgeline, descend the face below. The top is steep and can be rocky. The slope angle quickly lessens and the route joins up with the bottom of the Marbrées descent. Now go down and move left to a large plateau, heading towards Val Ferret. Be aware of the big couloirs above your head that can avalanche when there are high temperatures or after snowfalls. When you reach the woods keep always a bit left until you reach the small and charming Rôchefort village. Ski down to the Val Ferret road and from here walk down 30 minutes to the Sky Way or wait for the public bus.
