Right at the end of the magnificent Zillertal lies one of Austria's highest and best ski areas.
Freeride Skiing Difficult, Severe
The final part of an epic triumvirate, Hintertux is the highest and most spectacular of the 3 Zillertal ski areas. It is best known for its extensive piste skiing and the fact that it offers summer skiing on its glaciers.
What is less known in Hintertux is the excellent freeriding which the resort offers. The sheer scale of the terrain means that the lines described here and are long, and the height of the resort makes them all incredibly scenic.
