Description

With an abundance of 35 - 40 degree, south facing terrain, Nordkette is a truly epic but undeniably serious place to ski. When conditions are good and safe, there can't be many better places to ski in the World. When conditions aren't right, things can get scary quickly! As such, consider these lines as rare treats rather your go-to routes.

The Nordkette is best known for it's huge, south facing freeride lines and the most classic routes of all are described in this guidebook. What is less well known about the area is that it provides access to some wild and remote ski tours in the Karwendel mountains - the largest uninhabited area in the Alps. 2 of these tours are listed in this guidebook and there's plenty more to go at once you've done them both.

For a sample of what is offer at Nordkette, look no further!
