World-famous for its boundless ski slopes, magnificent alpine vistas, and towering peaks, Verbier is the queen of Switzerland’s 4 Valleys and a bucket list destination for all good skiers. But as the snow melts with the arrival of spring, the glorious mountain scenery remains, and the winter sports mecca transforms into a hiking hub. A lot of the lifts keep running, and the lively atmosphere in town doesn’t cease, as restaurants and hotels tend to remain open throughout the whole year. From spring through autumn, there's plenty of routes to explore, and plenty of sweet Swiss mountain huts to welcome you in after a hard day's hike.

Here’s a collection of trails taking you through everything from tranquil mountain pastures, up to challenging summit climbs. Try a local’s favourite, the Savoleyeres - Patier, which will bring you right to the top of Pierre Avoi.
